Macramé originates in the Arab world, where weavers used it to finish off bath towels and shawls. With the Moorish invasion, Macramé reached Spain and from there spread to the rest of Europe. Sailors use it to weave hammocks and much of the knotting in sailing uses Macramé. Macramé is the ancient Art of tying knots.
Each of my pieces has a story; each one, for me, is a journey and a lesson on Life.

Three fruits, woven in Black and Sienna CLon cord, mounted on sterling silver, with Obsidian and sterling silver beads. Measure approx. 3cm top to bottom, by 4cm across. £35.00
